The last day of 39

I’m sitting here having a glass of wine; thinking about well nothing really. I have this fabulous nothing in my head. Tomorrow I turn 40 and surprisingly, the panic and the melodrama that I was expecting seems to be nowhere in sight. Things are ok.
Mr. DeMille, I’m ready for my close up.

I just had this interesting though about my cancer, the cancer that I had in my 30’s. Now we can say out with the old. There was a place for it once in terms of resonance and symbolism, but now be gone! And no offense, but don’t ever come back. Just a thought.

  1. Goodbye 39, and say Hello to wise, wonderful, cancer-free 40!

I hope you have a beautiful birthday, Michelle.
